Cover girl Clump crusher review !

Price: $10 AUD from priceline
So heres the packaging,
I got it in Very black and its just the regular one which isn't waterproof. I tried to look for a waterproof version but there was none :(
So what sold me was the "200% more volume" claim.

The brush is smaller than the lash blast, and is curved. I do prefer this brush compared to the lash blast but the weird thing is, the bristles are REALLY hard and if you're not careful, you could poke yourself and it doesnt really feel good..

So on the left are my natural lashes without curling it or anything and the right is slightly curled with one coat of the clump crusher. (ignore my bushy, messy eyebrows) AHAHA

TWO COATS definitely gives volume. It looks much better as you can see. I do not know why those inner lashes stuck together, its easily fixed by a disposable mascara wand or just your fingers, but yeah.

This is my other eye, On the left is one coat and the right is two coats. And as you can see, two coats is what adds the volume.

Bottom line:
- It keeps around 35% of my curl after curling my lashes.
- Gives volume on the second coat
- Good brush for small asian eyes
- Doesn't flake
- Separates my lashes
- Doesn't clump (hence clump crusher)
- Doesn't cause spidery lashes

i give it a 8/10 because i do like the brush and the formula but wished it held the curl more.

Nivea lip butter Review + comparison with rosebud salve :)

So the Nivea lip butters have been launched in Australia ! They come in four different scents. Caramel cream, vanilla and macadamia kiss, raspberry rose kiss and unscented which is the one i got. So first off, i got the unscented one because i didnt really like the scent of the caramel or vanilla one. The raspberry was not in stock which was disappointing but yeah. These are sold for $5.19 AUD which is pretty pricey for a lip balm but everything is expensive in Australia anyways but it isn't too bad since its not doubled like makeup.
The lip butter contains 19ml of products and the product is white. It it very soft to the touch and if you accidentally push too hard, a huge dent will be made so be careful when first using it!

So i slept without lip balm for one night and my lips got very very dry and coincidently, i saw this lip balm at target and decided to give it a go since everyone raved about it!
So first off, when i first opened it, i was surprised at how white it was, it looks kinda like a solid white while other lip balms will have a off white kind of look.
When this lip butter is applied, it does give a hint of white to your lips. Its consistency is medium, not too thick but then vaseline thin either. To my surprise, i applied this on flaky lips and it accentuate the skin that was hanging out. i mean ive never seen a lip balm do that before! i guess the white colour of the lip balm got under the skin which my my lips look even more unpleasant.
PROS: It softens your lips, no scent (well if you get unscented), leaves a nice shine, feels good on the lips, not sticky
CONS: unsanitary packaging, gives a weird white colour to the lips, accentuates flaky skin on lips (easily fixed by exfoliating but i was testing it)

NOW ONTO THE COMPARISON So When i first saw this Nivea lip butter i instantly thought of the Rosebud salve !
So obviously they are different in size. The rosebud salve has 22g and the Nivea one has 19ml (19g)
The consistency of the rosebud is much more thin much like vaseline but not as oily and even though its the original, it has a scent. It kinda smells like baby powder which i find pleasant :)
Rosebud salve is not as accessible as the Nivea one. i got mine at IMATS 2012 for $5 but you can get it for $8 on http://au.cosme-de.com/en/product/product_page.html?pdid=5298 which has free shipping worldwide !Which one would i rather? i would rather the rosebud salve because its clear and has a thinner consistency that i like and can be used for other skin issues like dry hands or cracked skin, burns, rough cuticles, blemishes and rashes. The rosebud one is also easier to open for me since the Nivea one is so small !
Would i repurchase the Nivea one? probably not because of the colour when applied to the lips and the thick consistency.
But i do recommend it if you're going to just use it at night or under a lipstick because it definitely does soften the lips !
